Dr. Christina Campbell
Doctor of Naturopathic and Chiropractic Medicine
Dr. Christina Campbell grew up in the Lake Tahoe area and obtained her Bachelor of Science at the University of Nevada-Reno. She then moved to Portland, Oregon and attended two 4-year postgraduate medical programs; earning her first doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Western States Chiropractic College and her second doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), California Naturopathic Doctor's Association (CNDA) and holds a California Medical License in Naturopathic and Chiropractic Medicine.
Dr. Campbell owns and operates the Tahoe Center of Natural Medicine located in Tahoe City, California. Working full-time as a holistic primary healthcare provider, her passion is sharing her knowledge of natural medicine with the community. This being a part of her mission, Dr. Campbell has taught numerous health courses, lectured at symposiums, written articles for newspapers and magazines, and has participated in several radio programs. Naturopathic doctors have an important role in the healthcare community in that they utilize the latest advances in medical science and integrate them with time-tested natural principles and practices. Currently earning diplomate certification (ABAAHP) and Fellowship in Anti-aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine (FAARFM).
Dr. Stephenie Riley
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Stephenie Riley graduated from the University of Florida in 1989, with her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. She started her career designing balloons and stents for use in the heart; and then applying that technology for use in the spine. It was during her 10 years designing medical devices, that her desire to learn more about preventative medicine began to take shape. This, combined with the emerging field of environmental medicine, led her back to school in pursuit of her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 1999 at Bastyr University. Following graduation, Dr. Riley and her family moved back to the Lake Tahoe area. After the birth of their second child, she started her practice in Tahoe City, California. Dr. Riley maintains a focus in the area of environmental medicine.
Dr. Riley is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctor's Association (CDNA), American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM). She is also an Eco Mom Expert for the EcoMom Alliance, a non-profit organization working to harness the power of mom's to promote changes for sustainability. As the philosophy of "doctor as teacher" is a foundational principle of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Riley teaches a variety of classes within the community, lectures frequently within the Tahoe and San Francisco Bay areas, and often writes for local and online publications.
